Privacy Policy

The short version

PDFPuddle does not upload, store, log, or transmit any of your documents. Every PDF tool on this site runs entirely inside your web browser using client-side JavaScript libraries (pdf-lib and PDF.js). Your files never reach any server we operate.

What we don't collect

• The contents of any document you process
• Account information (we don't have accounts)
• Email addresses (we don't ask for them)
• Files, file metadata, or processing history

What we may collect

Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard server access logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for a limited period to monitor uptime and prevent abuse. These logs do not contain any document content because document processing happens in your browser.

Cookies

PDFPuddle uses a small amount of browser localStorage to remember your theme preference (dark or light). We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies that identify you personally.

Third-party services

Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts and JavaScript libraries from public CDNs (Cloudflare, unpkg). These services may log standard request data per their own privacy policies.

Children's privacy

PDFPuddle is a general-purpose tool and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change how PDFPuddle handles data, this policy will be updated and the "Last updated" date will change.
