How to Convert JPG to PDF (Single or Multiple Images)

Converting images to PDF is essential for submitting scanned IDs, sending photos as documents, and creating portfolios. PDFPuddle handles single images and multi-image batches with control over page size and orientation.

When to convert images to PDF

Government and HR portals often require PDF uploads, not image files. Submitting a passport scan, ID photo, or signed form usually means converting JPG or PNG to PDF first. PDFPuddle handles the conversion locally with no quality loss.

Page size options

Fit to Image makes each PDF page exactly the size of the source image — no white margins, no scaling. A4 (210×297mm) and US Letter (8.5×11in) scale and centre the image inside a standard page, useful when the recipient expects letter-formatted documents.

Combining multiple images

Drag in multiple images at once and PDFPuddle creates a single multi-page PDF, one image per page. Reorder by dragging the cards before processing.

Image format support

JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, and most browser-supported formats work. PNG retains transparency (rendered as white in the PDF). For HEIC files from iPhones, convert to JPG first using your phone's share menu or a desktop converter.
