How to Convert PDF Pages to PowerPoint Slides
You receive a PDF report and need to present it. Or you have a brochure layout you want to adapt into a pitch deck. Converting PDF pages into PowerPoint-ready slide images is the fastest path.
How conversion works
PDFPuddle renders each PDF page as a high-resolution PNG or JPEG image at 2× or 3× scale. Import the resulting images into PowerPoint as slides — one image per slide — and you have a presentation ready to annotate, brand, or reorder.
Choosing scale
2× (144 DPI) is the sweet spot for presentations on standard projectors. 3× (216 DPI) is overkill for most uses but useful for very large screens or when you'll be zooming during a demo.
PNG vs JPEG
PNG for slides with text, charts, or solid colours — lossless compression keeps text sharp. JPEG for slides dominated by photos — smaller files, imperceptible quality loss on photographic content.
Building the .pptx
PDFPuddle outputs images, not a .pptx file. To assemble: in PowerPoint, choose Insert → Album → New Photo Album, select your images, and PowerPoint creates a deck with one image per slide. Adjust slide size if needed under Design → Slide Size.
